Kuchinox is a Polish brand which was founded more than a quarter of the century in Łódź.
From the very start, we based our business on production, imports and distribution of sanitary interior furnishing products.
Over the years we systematically extended our product offer not only by new collections of tapware or sinks, but also by further product range groups, including handles and wardrobes which became an important part of our portfolio.
History of the company, the start of which dates back to 1997 is an evidence that not only do we know how to run a business but most of all that we have loyal business and individual customers who help us to operate on the Polish market and foreign markets for a quarter of century.
For the recent 25 years the interior furnishing market has seen many changes, though our priority was always to make Kuchinox offer diverse.
We follow trends dictated by interior furnishing industry, while still remain devoted to the classic at the same time.
With such wide approach to creating Kuchinox offer we are constantly attracting new Customers for whom the current trend is important. What is more, we have a large number of regular recipients, who are with us for decades and appreciate stability of our portfolio.
Our long-time experience allows us to expect upcoming trends and meet them halfway.
An idea that guides us when creating a new model in our offer is a combination of an attractive design and a good quality available at an affordable price. Development of each product is preceded by analyses of customers’ needs, market demand and observation of trends. Before a new item sees the light of day, we internally consult persons from various departments of our company, who are a representative, diverse group of potential recipients of our products. Then a detailed quality control is conducted in two ways. First control of a product takes place just after production is finished, at factories we cooperate with. Further control is conducted by experienced employees at our internal Quality Control Department.
An extremely important part of our work is a constant development in both corporate, and individual aspects.
The best example is an establishment of own Factory of Granite Products located near Poznań back in 2019. We have one of the most modern stock of machinery in Poland and experienced specialist personnel which gives us almost unlimited production possibilities.
More about factory
Over the years we also have been developing other fields of our business which allow us for a comprehensive service of our business and individual customers. We decided to look a little bit wider on interiors which resulted in launching of metal department. It comprises, including but not limited to, an extensive offer of indoor, outdoor and gate handles, and wardrobes as well as dedicated accessories.
One of priorities we dedicate attention to is an ever extending catalogue of spare parts with use of which we are able to reliably and quickly respond to the needs of users of our products.
Apart from that our customers can contact Customer Service Office, Central Service, our Sales Representatives and team of service technicians operating across Poland providing support after the warranty period has expired.
An additional convenience is an on-line complaint form at our website which enables to contact us from any place and shortens complaint processing considerably.
At Kuchinox we are aware that our biggest power are our employees. Therefore we care about development, motivation and integration of the team.
We are particularly proud of the fact that a major part of people employed at our company remains with us for long years which allows to create a teamed-up community, in which newly-employed find friends quickly.
Apart from organizing various trainings and participating in industry conferences which support professional development of employees with a benefit for themselves and for the company, as well, we get engaged in their private initiatives. Corporate Social Responsibility – how we help
Nowadays Kuchinox cover three locations in which more than 120 people are employed. Company’s headquarters with the administration department is located in the centre of the City of Łódź at Aleja Tadeusza Kościuszki 3. Warehouse, Customer Service Office and Central Service are located nearby Stryków motorway junction which is appreciated by our suppliers and recipients. Our Factory of Granite Products is located in the town of Buk near Poznań.
Chronology
Kuchinox Poland is established
In July Kuchinox company is established. From the very start it operates as one of the group of companies specialized in interior furnishing. Originally it offers own goods under Kuchinox brand only. For over a quarter of century it has managed to become a key player on the Polish market. Despite the lapse of time and change of the original product category offered for sale, Kuchinox successfully develops in every aspect, and company’s management board didn’t say their last word.
Start of cooperation with the largest chains of DIY stores Castorama and Leroy Merlin
After DIY stores, such as Castorama and Leroy Merlin have entered the market, Kuchinox took their chance to develop distribution of sinks, tapware, showers and other accessories of interior furnishing nationwide. This is Kuchinox brand’s philosophy, based on good product quality in an attractive aesthetics and at an affordable price, which made the company become one of leading suppliers of the category to chains of DIY stores.
First year among the elite Gazele Biznesu (Business Gazelles) club
Constant development of product portfolio and going for innovations in bathroom and kitchen furnishing products, as well as cooperation with the largest wholesalers and chains of DIY stores made Kuchinox gain a special dynamics. Development of the brand, but also financial results enabled the Company to be entered for the first time to the list of an independent ranks Gazele Biznesu (Business Gazelles), organized by Puls Biznesu (Business’ Pulse) newspaper editorial office.
We introduce metal products to our offer
This year was marked by metal products. The company’s board made a decision to develop categories offered to customers. Since 2007 Kuchinox is a supplier of not only sinks, mixers, showers, kitchen and bathroom accessories but also products such as door handles and wardrobe equipment. This makes the company to start playing a key role not only in sanitary departments at contractors but also in metal sector. While thousands of sold handles and such products find their place in Polish flats and apartments.
Distinction in the “Diamenty Forbesa” (Forbes’ Diamonds) ranking
Position of Kuchinox company is higher and higher year by year. The brand is not only appreciated and readily chosen by customers. The company and their products are more and more often recognized by both interior furnishing industry and business media. In 2014 the activity of the Company was recognized and awarded by distinction in the ranking by “Forbes” magazine. Kuchinox receives “Diament Forbes” (Forbes’ Diamond) award.
Obtaining the “Przedsiębiorstwo Fair Play” (Fair Play Company) Business Quality Certificate
The Company, aware of its potential, level of activity and quality of products offered on the market, makes a decision to undergo a multi-stage verification and applies to have a prestigious “Firma Fair Play” (Fair Play Company) title awarded. In 2016 joins a group of companies receiving this distinction, which for Kuchinox brand is a confirmation of a properly taken direction of the development.
Rebranding
After 20 of activity, the Company’s Management Board decides on Kuchinox rebranding. With logotype change new directions of the development have been declared, both in terms of product and human resource development, and also new guidelines for investment plans have been presented. Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the business development gave trajectory for further years.
Kuchinox team is more than 100 people
With the development of the company an entity originally established by three co-founders has grown to a team of more than 100 people. By following new trends, development of new product categories while keeping an eye on quality control has made it necessary to create new departments and positions in company’s offices in Łódź, Zgierz and Poznań.
Opening of Factory of Granite Products
A real breakthrough in the Kuchinox business was the cornerstone of the construction of own factory of granite products. In Buk near Poznań the most state-of-the-art granite sink production line in Poland is being constructed. Rate of production, product availability, independence from external suppliers have become factors giving Kuchinox company advantage in the category of granite products.
Relocation of warehouse to Logistics Centre in Stryków
Wide-spread distribution nationwide to chains of supermarkets, building material warehouses and interior furnishing purchasing groups made the Company, after a few expansions in 2021, decide to buy a high-bay warehouse area in logistics centre nearby the Stryków junction in the centre of Poland. With this, Kuchinox gains an additional advantage as a speed of supply and distribution chain for goods produced and offered at home and abroad.
Opening of Factory of Granite Products in Romania
A successfully running state-of-the-art factory of granite products, established a few years earlier in Buk near Poznań, becomes an inspiration for Kuchinox Management Board in 2022. As a result, the company establishes the next factory with innovative stock of machinery, this time near the city of Timi?oara in Romania. The new investment launches the production very soon, basing on know-how of the Polish factory. The convenient location makes Kuchinox significantly increase their rate of production and improve distribution of goods across the whole Balkan region.
OEM PRODUCTION
As a company owning two factories of granite products, located in Poland and Romania, we are able to manufacture high-quality OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) products. This means that our products can be sold by other companies under their brand, adapting to customers’ specific requirements and standards. With a well-developed infrastructure, our production of granite sinks and other products reaches markets across the whole Europe and the world, ensuring timeliness and top-quality workmanship. Long-standing experience and advanced production technologies allow us to meet even the most demanding orders.
