What to keep in mind when selecting a sink mixer?
To ensure freedom of movement when perfrorming everyday tasks, such as washing up, suit a mixer height to the bowl depth. If you happen to have a shallow sink (12-16 cm deep), it is better to select a sink mixer with high body – with L-shaped spouts or the so-called coil sink mixer. For 16-20 cm deep bowls, mixers with U-shaped spouts will suit perfectly, while for ones deeper than 20 cm – standard mixers with low body.
To be able to fully open a window, by which a sink is provided, a mixer should be folded at 90 degrees so the spout can hide in the bowl.
If a kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, then you can invest in a model with a lower body or – even better – in a mixer with pull-out spout which, due to a high flexibility of use will be an everyday ally in rinsing dishes from leftover food before putting them in a dishwasher.
Weight of a mixer is important especially with steel sinks. Because if you choose too heavy a mixer, after some time it may cause damages in the sink surface. To avoid this, it is recommended to install a stiffening pad made of plastic, available in Kuchinox offer (its catalogue code is: CZZ 700T). It will help to distribute weight of the mixer over a larger area.
Aerator – how to clean one, and how often?

It is also recommended to keep the proof of purchase of the installed hoses.

Automatic plug has a tie provided in the mixer body (usually in the back), which is operated mechanically. To close or open the outlet, just simply press and pull the tie. While click-clack plugs have no direct connection to the mixer: the outlet is closed and opened in the washbasin by a single push of “mushroom” in the outlet with your hand.
